Everlight Launches Two Series of High-Efficiency 0.2 W LEDs; One of the Series Boasts Up to 205 lm/W at 5000K

Everlight Electronics of Shulin, New Taipei City, Taiwan has introduced two high efficiency 0.2 W LEDs. Everlight says it optimized the both the 5630KK5D and 5630KK6D series LEDs to give them extremely high efficiency. According to Everlight the two new series of LEDs meet the demands for high luminous performance of commercial lighting lamps and fixtures.

Everlight 5630 KK6D Series LED

Everlight says that both the 5630KK5D and 5630KK6D LEDs use plastic materials with high reflection/lifetime and improved optical structures. Both LEDs come in the company’s 5630 package. The 5630KK5D series (0.2W) features luminous efficiency of up to 195lm/W at 5000K. The 5630KK6D series (0.2W) delivers luminous efficiency up to 205 lm/W at 5000K.

Everlight says that it was able to increase the efficiency without modifying the circuit and PCB layout. Therefore, the number of necessary LEDs or power consumption can be reduced in lighting applications for either more light output at the same power or less energy consumption with the same light output. Everlight says that both LEDs can enable a 2000lm finished product such as office lighting with less than 11W power consumption.

Everlight’s 5630KK5D series (0.2W) is already in mass production. Everlight has scheduled mass production of the 5630KK6D series for this month. Reference samples of both products are available.
