Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania USA, reported that it has chosen ANC to install a new video display and audio system inside Finneran Pavilion, the new home of the Villanova Wildcat men’s and women’s basketball. ANC, a Learfield Company, offers integrated signage, as well as design, and marketing solutions for sports, entertainment, retail, and transportation facilities.

ANC to Install Numerous LED Displays at Finneran Pavilion
The new video display system features a total of 1,700 sq. ft. of LED displays that are part of the renovation project to enhance the former Pavilion, which will reopen at the start of the 2018-2019 basketball season. The primary video display includes a 6mm pixel pitch and measures 17.64′ high by 23.94′ wide. Also, a unique 6mm pixel pitch suspended ring display can deliver 360 degrees of interactive content. The ring measures 86.93-feet in diameter and 3.15-feet high.
The system also includes four 6mm corner LED video displays that measure 8.82 feet high by 15.75′ wide and one 10mm LED ribbon measuring 2.62-feet high by 91.34-feet wide spans one side of the court.
Additionally, the University will get two 6mm LED video displays at the Nevin Fieldhouse that measure 8.92-feet high by 15.75-feet wide.
The pavilion’s video display system will be controlled via the company’s vSOFT™ operating system, and ANC will provide graphic design and operations support for the University. The complete technology upgrade by ANC includes also includes video, scoring, video production systems, a sound reinforcement system, and a broadcast system.

ANC and Villanova have agreed to work with architectural firm EwingCole and construction management firm Hunter Roberts Construction Group on the project. These display installation plans are just the latest project in ANC and Villanova University partnership over the past ten years in which ANC has managed the University’s courtside signage.
