Terminal 4 at JFK Airport Features NanoLumens Nixel Series Display for Flight Information

NanoLumens -- Nixel Series Display at JFK Airport's Terminal 4

John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4 got a new digital display board for flight information in its Arrivals Hall. The 30-foot by 10-foot, two-sided NanoLumens® Nixel Series™ LED video board features NanoLumens’ AWARE® display management platform. The video board shows flight information for arriving flights, news, weather information, the time, as well as marketing messages from advertisers. NanoLumens designed and engineered the Nixel Series display. Then, integration partner ConeXus World installed it at the airport’s Terminal 4.

Video Signage More Effective than Still Images

NanoLumens says that its Nixel Series LED displays can successfully transform any environment into an immersive experience that makes it more useful than static images. The company further said that the video sign with the company’s AWARE display management platform offers unlimited opportunities for presenting a continuous stream of images, videos, and more. Also, the company can build Nixel Series Crisp in any custom size, shape, or curvature. The Nixel Series features pixel pitches as low as 2.5mm. The company contends that its Nixel Series displays can offer space efficiency, minimize environmental impact, and increase advertising ROI.

“Our new flight information display board will be helpful to the nearly 1 million annual visitors picking up passengers at Terminal 4,” said Gert-Jan de Graaff, president and CEO of JFKIAT, LLC., the company which manages Terminal 4. “Over 6 million arriving international passengers will be welcomed to New York City each year by the vibrant and dynamic images on the new video board designed by NanoLumens.”

“JFK Terminal 4 joins a growing list of major airports around the world that have turned to NanoLumens for a truly unique digital display solution that immediately engages travelers and allows for clear and concise communication of the kinds of information travelers need in order to continue on their journeys,” said NanoLumens Vice President of Marketing & Business Development Nate Remmes.  “We are honored to have been selected by JFKIAT for this project, which now stands as a stunning example of both our Nixel Series display technology and our AWARE network management platform.”
