Brookings, South Dakota USA– The most anticipated football game of the season will kick off on Sunday in Houston, Texas, at NRG Stadium, a venue recently fitted with a new LED ribbon display above each end zone from Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota. The company’s service team will be on hand during the game along with the equipment which was installed in 2016 with eyes set on Sunday’s game between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots.
For the past 13 consecutive years, the host venue of football’s biggest game has used Daktronics products to bring the best game-day experience possible to every fan in the stadium. This year, two new displays were installed, each measuring 2 feet high by 343 feet wide, to complement the east and west ribbon displays installed in 2014 as well as the lower 360-degree ribbon display installed in 2008 for a total of 4,400 feet of ribbon displays working together to bring every moment to life and energize fans inside NRG Stadium. Leading up to this Sunday, nine out of a total 11 playoff games were played at facilities using Daktronics equipment.
