Luminus Devices Awarded 21st U.S. Patent

July 8, 2008... Luminus Devices, the maker of PhlatLight LEDs, reported that it has received its 21st U.S. patent for its PhlatLight technology. The company notes that it has 120 patents pending in the U.S. and other countries. Luminus points out that its patent portfolio covers a wide range of LED related technology including large area LED devices, high power wavelength converting LED devices, and LED packaging technology. The company says that the continual addition of patents further demonstrates its commitment to innovate and leading edge technologies.
